Our Role
TheGoonPit is a video index site. We do not host any videos ourselves, so we can’t remove videos from the internet. What we can do is take down our listings and embedded links to those videos. If you’re a rights owner, you should also contact the site where the video is actually hosted.
How to Send a Notice (17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3))
To report a copyright issue, please include:
- The URL(s) of the listing(s) on thegoonpit.com
- A description of the copyrighted work you own
- Your full name, address, and e-mail
- A statement saying you believe the use is unauthorized, made in good faith
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and you are authorized to act
- Your signature (typed is okay)
Send your notice to the Copyright Agent for TheGoonPit using our contact page at contact page.
What Happens Next
We review valid notices within a few business days and remove reported listings. If you receive a counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g), you can send it the same way, via our contact page. If a source repeatedly causes valid copyright complaints, we will remove all related listings from our index.
